Settings screen

Settings screen is a place from where you manage how BudgetMan works. It's possible to:
  • Set up categories
  • Manage budgets
  • Set currency
  • View version and licencing info
  • Reset all data and settings

Manage categories opens category list. From there you can add, edit or remove categories by long-pressing category item. (Yes, it's a little counter-intuitive to add categories this way, but this is in the todo-list)

Manage budgets opens budget list. Budgets can be added, edited or removed, with the exception that active budget can not be removed.

Set currency is place where you can set up the currency symbol (or max. three-letter acronym) shown in different parts of BudgetMan software. For now, currencies in BudgetMan are just for show. Therefore, this menu is a convenience thing and it does not calculate transaction values between currencies or anything.

About BudgetMan shows information about current software version and author. Here you find also all license related information and a short disclaimer.

Reset defaults really means that! Use with care, because this is not possible to un-do. There's a confirmation screen asking if you really wanted to remove all budgets, all transactions, all custom edits to categories and set currency symbol back to euro symbol (€).

To return to main screen, select Back. Location, visuals and general shape of the button might vary a little depending of your phone, but it usually can be found from the bottom right corner of the screen.
